Previous film festivals: Slamdance (Grand Jury and Audience Awards – Best
Documentary Feature), Full FrameSudan is the last male northern white rhino in existence, and this film explores the painful emptiness of potential species extinction, through the eyes of Sudan's three primary caregivers. Teetering on borrowed time and with his health in decline, Sudan's looming death and the uncertainty of employment that it will bring hangs over the heads of our three dynamic characters. Their only hope to save the species they love - and perhaps their livelihoods - rests fully upon the success of a last resort
in vitro fertilization (IVF) experiment.
What we think: a touchy love story between humans and animals which encapsulates not only an intimate relationship but also a desperate struggle for the survival of the whole species. CLICK HERE TO BUY INDIVIDUAL TICKETS TO THIS SCREENINGCLICK HERE TO BUY ALL ACCESS PASSES TO THE FESTIVAL
